METHODS OF APPLICATION
Surface preparation
Sandpaper and dust any imperfections with STUCCOMURO and apply 1 coat of FISSATIVO UNIVERSALE which should be correctly diluted with water at a ratio of 1:5 up to 1:10 according absorption of the surface.
Leave to dry for at least 4 hours and apply 1 or 2 coats of GENYUS SPECIAL, which is a special silk paint, either white or slightly colored, correctly diluted ( consult the Technical data sheet) leaving 4 to 5 hours between each coat (photo 1).
Application
There are 3 methods of application for ArtheMETAL:
Pennellato Effect: spread a layer of ArtheMETAL with a special SPALTER DECORA’ tool by using irregular movements, cris crossing with brush marks the surface (photo n.2). After drying about 12 hours, repeat the same procedure as the first coat (photo n.3) in order to obtain the desired brush finish and an excellent coverage of the surface.
Gold Leaf Effect:
spread a layer of ArtheMETAL with a SPALTER DECORA’ tool covering about 1 square meter at a time (photo n.4) and immediately with the help of our special ArtheMETAL TOOL you can obtain the Gold Leaf finish (photo n.5).
After drying about 12 hours, repeat the same procedure as the first coat in order to obtain the desired Gold Leaf finish and an excellent coverage of the surface (photo n.6-7).
Frisè Effect:
spread a layer of ArtheMETAL with a SPALTER DECORA’ tool covering about 1 square meter at a time (photo n.8) and immediately with the help of our special ArtheMETAL TOOL go over the surface using circular movements (photo n.9); continue until the entire surface has been covered. After drying about 12 hours, repeat the same procedure as the first coat in order to obtain thedesired brush finish and an excellent coverage of the surface (photo n.10).
The ArtheMETAL fini sh can be clearly seen when the entire surface has completely dried about 4 to 5 hours after the application.

Each color in our color chart has been divided into 4 different shades, each one corresponds to a letter E, F, G, H, in order to obtain the desired color add in 2,5 Lt. of ArtheMETAL SILVER o ArtheMETAL GOLD the quantity of ARTHE CONCENTRATO according to the following chart |

ArtheMETAL can also be colored by using GLOBAL TINTING SYSTEM by SPIVER.
