CARAVAGGIO: Velvet effect decorative “STUCCO“
METHODS OF APPLICATION
Surface preparation: Sandpaper, dust and level any imperfection using Stuccomuro, coat of UNIVERSAL FISSATIVO which should be diluted in water at a ratio of between 1:R up to 1:10 this depends on the absorption of the surface to be applied.
Leave it to dry for at least 4 hours and then apply 2 coats of Spiver GENYUS SPECIAL correctly diluted (consult the technical data sheet) leave an interval of 4-5 hours between each application (photo n.1) .
Application: The application of Caravaggio is extremely easy and quick.
There are 3 different methods of application.
- Spatolato effect: apply the first light coat 0.5 to 1mm of Caravaggio using the appropriate Spiver “Caravaggio plastic transparent trowel” (Photo n.2) and leave it for at least 6 to 8 hours. Apply the second coat of Caravaggio (Photo n.3) in small areas about one square meter at a time and immediately go back over the applied surface gently using the trowel in different directions (Photo n.4); continue the full area in the same way.
- Damascato Effect: apply the first light coat 0.5 to 1mm of Caravaggio using the appropriate Spiver “Caravaggio plastic transparent trowel” (Photo n.2) and leave it for at least 6 to 8 hours. Apply the second coat of Caravaggio (Photo n.3) after drying put some product on the Spiver “Red Trowel - Broccato” with the help of a paint brush (Photo n.6); apply Caravaggio on the entire surface “tapping” the surface in irregular movements (Photo n.7); leave it to set for 5 minutes and then with a perfectly clean Spiver “Red Trowel - Broccato” go back over the surface pulling the trowel lightly in different directions. - Broccato Effect: apply the first light coat 0.5 to 1mm of Caravaggio using the appropriate Spiver “Caravaggio plastic transparent trowel” (Photo n.2) and leave it for at least 6 to 8 hours. Apply the second coat of Caravaggio a (little thicker than the first coat) in small areas about one square meter at a time (Photo n.3) and go back over the surface with the Spiver “Red Trowel - Broccato” using circular movements (Photo n.5); repeat the same operation for the entire surface.

To obtain the colour desired add the quantity of ARTHE CONCENTRATO indicated in the chart below to 4Lt. of Caravaggio Neutral.
